He returned to the UK in 2019 to join a renowned private bank in Bristol before training as a solicitor in England and Wales at a boutique private client law firm specializing in cross-border succession and international wealth administration. Born in Ulster, he studied law at the University of Sheffield, Yorkshire, and spent a year studying civil law at Université Nancy II, France.

He obtained a specialization in private clients, wills & estates from the College of Law in Chester and later a diploma from the Society of trust and estate practitioners in international trust management in Zurich, Switzerland, managing a small team at Nerine Fiduciare in Geneva.

He spends his free time playing tennis at a local club and weaving relationships with colleagues while on ski or hiking vacations in Switzerland.
