Gilles Sturbois
"By narrow ways to august things" (Ernest of Brandenburg).
About
Besides his two small daughters, who occupy most of his free time, Gilles Sturbois has two great passions: calisthenics and rugby.
He holds a master's degree from L'EDHEC (Lille, France) in law and another master's degree in law and taxation from GEFIRE (Clermont-Ferrand, France).
He began his career in 2000 as a tax lawyer at CM-CIC in Paris. In 2006, he moved to BNP PARIBAS, where he worked as a tax specialist in the Private Banking Department. He became tax manager at SGBT (Societe Generale Bank & Trust) in Luxembourg, again for the Private Banking branch.
Since 2013 Gilles Sturbois has been a director at the law firm Atoz where he accompanies his clients (HNWI individuals, family offices, and private bankers) in structuring their cross-border investments via Luxembourg. He is also in charge of the law firm for information exchange with FATCA and CRS protocols.
